L- Arginine is an amino acid naturally found in red meat, poultry, fish, and dairy. It is necessary for making proteins and is commonly used for circulation. L-Arginine is an amino acid that the body cannot produce naturally. Therefore, it is important to consume foods rich in arginine or by dietary supplement. L-Arginine plays a number of roles in the body. These include the detoxification of ammonia formed during the nitrogen catabolism of amino acids via the formation of urea.
